Built around the rear seat
In an S-Class the important seat is the one behind the passenger. That is where our clients sit, so that is what we look after: the rear cabin is quiet at motorway speed, the windows are tinted, and the seat has enough legroom for a tall passenger to stretch out after a long-haul flight.
Wi-Fi is on in every car. Most business clients use the 25 minutes from Schiphol to answer mail or take a call, and the cabin is quiet enough for a video meeting. If you would rather sleep, tell the chauffeur. The radio stays off and nobody will start a conversation.
What fits in the car
Three adults travel comfortably in the back. For three passengers we recommend no more than three large suitcases and two carry-ons. Golf bags, a fourth suitcase or a pram usually mean the V-Class is the better choice, and it is often cheaper.
Typical S-Class jobs in Amsterdam
- Schiphol arrivals. The chauffeur waits at the Meeting Point in Schiphol Plaza with your name on a sign. 60 minutes of waiting after landing are included.
- Zuidas and the RAI. Meetings at the WTC, Gustav Mahlerplein or a congress at the RAI. Schiphol to Zuidas is 11 km and takes about 15 minutes outside rush hour.
- Evenings in the city. Dinner on the Herengracht, a concert at the Concertgebouw, then back to the hotel. Booked by the hour, the car waits nearby.
- Day trips. The Hague, Rotterdam or Antwerp with one chauffeur for the whole day.
