Schiphol arrivals, daily RAI runs and client dinners for exhibitors and visitors
IBC is the international broadcast and media technology show held every September at the RAI Amsterdam, Europaplein 24. It runs over four days, usually Friday to Monday, and brings more than 40,000 visitors to the city. During IBC we run Schiphol transfers, hotel to RAI shuttles in the Sprinter and evening cars for client dinners. The RAI is 14 km from Schiphol, about 15–25 minutes by car. Hourly hire starts at €90 for a V-Class and €140 for a Sprinter, VAT included.

The event
What IBC week means for transport
Hotel prices in Amsterdam go up during IBC and the rooms near the RAI sell out first. Many exhibitors end up in Zuidas, the city centre or even Haarlem, 20 km away. That is fine with a car, and tiring with public transport and a case of demo equipment.
The busiest moments are predictable: Thursday and Friday morning arrivals at Schiphol, the morning run to the RAI between 08:00 and 09:30, and the evening when everyone leaves the halls at the same time for dinners in the city. Taxis are hard to find at that hour. A booked car is not.
How we work during IBC
- Schiphol arrivals. Meet and greet at the Meeting Point in Schiphol Plaza, straight to the hotel or the RAI with your luggage.
- Hotel to RAI shuttle. A Sprinter for up to 16 people running a fixed loop each morning and evening, timed to the show hours.
- Car at disposal. An S-Class or V-Class for the whole day, for a CEO or a sales team taking clients out.
- Build-up and break-down. Early and late runs for stand crews on the days before and after the show.
Book early. Cars for IBC week go fast, so send us your dates as soon as your stand is confirmed.
