The three cruise terminals we drive to

Passenger Terminal Amsterdam sits on the IJ at Piet Heinkade 27, between Centraal Station and the Muziekgebouw. From Schiphol it is about 25–35 min by car. On embarkation mornings the area in front of the terminal gets busy with coaches and taxis, so the chauffeur uses the drop-off zone and unloads the bags right there.

Cruise Port IJmuiden is at the mouth of the North Sea Canal, roughly 30 km west of Amsterdam and about the same distance from Schiphol. Ships that are too large for the locks into Amsterdam often moor there. The drive takes 35–45 minutes. The Rotterdam Cruise Terminal is on the Wilhelminakade, right by the Erasmus Bridge, 63 km from Schiphol.

Luggage is the thing that goes wrong on cruise transfers. Two weeks at sea means big suitcases. A V-Class takes 6 passengers with 6 suitcases and carry-ons, but 7 passengers leave room for only 3 or 4. For a family of four with eight large cases we will suggest the V-Class with fewer seats used, or a second car. A Sprinter takes up to 16 passengers and about 13 suitcases.

On disembarkation day, ships usually arrive early in the morning and passengers leave in groups. Tell us your group or colour tag time and your flight. We set the pick-up time from that, and for flights out of Schiphol we plan to be at the airport two hours before a European departure and three hours before a long-haul one.

How it works

1. Send ship and flight details

   Ship name, terminal, embarkation or disembarkation time, flight number, passengers and number of suitcases.

2. Get a fixed price

   We choose the vehicle by passengers and luggage and send the price per car.

3. Pick-up

   At Schiphol we meet you at the Meeting Point in Schiphol Plaza. At the ship, at the agreed point outside the terminal.

4. Drop-off at the door

   At the terminal entrance, the hotel or the departures hall. The chauffeur unloads every bag.
