Roadshow chauffeur for investor meetings

Four cities, six meetings, one car and one chauffeur who knows the plan before you do

A roadshow chauffeur drives a management team from investor meeting to investor meeting, often through several cities in a single day. We plan the route around your meeting schedule, put one chauffeur on the whole day and keep the car outside each address. A CEO and CFO travel well in the S-Class at €95 per hour. A team of four to seven with an IR manager and banker takes the V-Class at €90 per hour. Amsterdam Zuidas, The Hague, Rotterdam and Brussels fit into one long day: about 260 km of driving and four to five meetings.

The service

How we plan a roadshow day

A roadshow fails on timing, rarely on anything else. So the work starts the day before. We take your list of meetings, check each address (some offices have a separate visitor entrance or a drop-off point round the back), and work out drive times for the hour you will actually be on the road. A 10:30 departure from Zuidas to The Hague is a different trip from a 17:00 one.

The Randstad helps. Zuidas to the centre of The Hague is about 55 km, The Hague to Rotterdam about 25 km, and Rotterdam to the European quarter in Brussels about 150 km. On a normal weekday that leaves room for two meetings in Amsterdam, one in The Hague, one over lunch in Rotterdam and one late afternoon in Brussels.

Between meetings the car works as the office. The V-Class has two rows of facing seats, which suits a quick debrief after each investor. The S-Class is quieter for calls. Either way there is Wi-Fi, and the chauffeur keeps the IR manager or the banker updated if a meeting overruns, so the next investor gets a heads-up instead of a no-show.

Very long days need a word of caution. A chauffeur has legal limits on driving and working hours. For days much longer than the example above, we plan a second chauffeur or a hand-over halfway, and we will tell you that when we quote.

Step by step

How it works

  1. Send the meeting list

Times, addresses and the number of people travelling. Draft versions are fine, schedules always change.

  2. We build the timing plan

Drive times per leg, buffer per meeting, pick-up time at the hotel. You get it back as a simple table.

  3. One chauffeur on the day

The chauffeur has the plan and the phone numbers of the IR contact. The car waits at every stop.

  4. Last-minute changes

An extra meeting or a cancelled one: send a message and the chauffeur re-routes.

Real situations

When clients book it

Pre-IPO roadshow

A CEO and CFO with an investment banker see six investors in two days: Zuidas on day one, The Hague and Rotterdam on day two. One V-Class, one chauffeur, both days.

Four cities, one day

A management team starts in Zuidas at 07:45 and finishes with a meeting in Brussels at 16:30. The chauffeur drops them at Brussels-Midi for the evening train.

Non-deal roadshow, one person

A CFO flies in at 07:30, sees three funds in Zuidas and one near Amsterdam Zuid station, and is back at Schiphol for a 17:45 flight. Eight hours in an S-Class.

Hourly rates are €95 (S-Class) and €90 (V-Class). A day that ends in Brussels also needs the car to drive back to Amsterdam, so we quote it as a whole. For a one-way trip without meetings, see the fixed price for Amsterdam to Brussels.

FAQ

Roadshow chauffeur questions

Can we do Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Brussels in one day?

Yes, on a weekday with an early start. It is about 260 km of driving. Four or five meetings fit, as in the example timing plan above.

How much does a roadshow chauffeur cost?

€95 per hour in an S-Class or €90 in a V-Class. A nine-hour day in the Randstad is €855 in an S-Class. Days ending abroad are quoted as a whole.

Do we keep the same chauffeur all day?

Yes. One chauffeur from the hotel pick-up to the last drop. On multi-day roadshows we try to keep the same chauffeur for every day.

What happens if a meeting runs late?

The car waits. The chauffeur checks the next leg and can tell your IR contact how late you will be.

Which car is best for a roadshow?

The S-Class for one to three people who need quiet for calls. The V-Class for four to seven, with facing seats for a debrief.
